Your Value to God

What is Your Value? Are you worthless, hopeless and useless? If you think so, God doesn't agree. Your Value to Him is the Same as Jesus Christ's Value.

Almighty God paid an infinite price for you. Whether you believe in Him or not, God has proved how much He values you just as you are.

While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Holy Bible Ro. 5:8 NIV

God the Father gave His only Son, Jesus Christ, in your place. Your family and neighbours may call you no good, stupid or worthless. You may join them in condemning yourself as a waste of space or a failure. But if everyone on earth thinks you are of no value, listen to what God says you are worth;

For God so loved the world (you) that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him (Jesus) shall not perish but have eternal life. Jn. 3:16

God gave His sinless Son's life to have you as His friend.

God thinks you were worth giving His Best for. He wouldn't pay such a supreme price for a nobody, would He?

For Christ died for sins once for all, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God. 1 Pe.3:18

If you are not yet born of God, you are still under condemnation because of sin.

Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God's one and only Son. Jn 3:18

In that situation, you probably imagine yourself unworthy of God's blessings. But remember; Christ only died to save sinners. God's pardon is offered only to those who have sinned. God's salvation is only for those who are lost and need the Saviour.

God wants you as you are, simply be willing to repent and believe in Jesus Christ. Now think about the price God has paid for you. Agree with Him, 'I must be worth that price to God. I must be important to Him'

Remember, He didn't do it to get anything from you. He did it freely because He loves you. When you accept this Gospel fact, and receive Jesus as Saviour, you'll begin to love God, and love others. When you do that, God is working through you. He and you are partners.

God's unconditional love is the greatest power on earth.

Have you ever wished you were dead? Or tried to harm yourself? By embracing God's opinion of yourself, you'll stop wanting to destroy the wonderful person He sees in you.

Because He accepts you, you accept yourself, and start to accept others. The instant you repent and believe in Jesus, God comes to live in your heart, and your body becomes His temple. Divine life energizes you to act on His behalf. You speak His message, and people are saved. You pray to Him and He responds. He authorizes you to act for Him on earth, and He endorses His Word through you. Together you bless, heal and lift broken, hurting people. You have a vital mission to reach the world with God's love.

As soon as you grasp the concept of representing God, your whole outlook changes. You recognize God is in you, working through you, valuing people like He does. Is it a sin to value what God values? Should anybody put down what God wants to lift up?

You were made for life; God's life. When anyone receives Christ, their life is the very breath of God. Think of that!

God made you for success, not failure. God made you for health, happiness and fulfilment. Not for sickness, despair and misery. Accept the value God has put on you. Receive His Son, and His forgiveness, then you will begin to fulfil God's plan for your life.

What a terrible waste, not to become what God has designed you to be.

When Jesus lives as Lord in your heart, you can stand tall knowing that God has chosen you as His partner, as His friend, and His child. You are here on God's behalf. He lives and works through you. You and God become an unbeatable team, lifting others, with His life-changing love.

Have you begun this new life in Christ yet? You Can Today

Perhaps you made a start, but were tripped up by 'religion'. Some people seed new believers with wrong ideas, teaching them;

"Now be careful. You are only a sinner saved by grace. Don't forget you are an unworthy worm of the dust. Watch out or you'll fall into temptations, and lose your salvation. Keep in mind that the devil is strong, and he'll deceive you. God will test you, and judge you if you sin. He'll bring calamity on you to teach you to obey Him. You are weak. You're only a baby in Christ, so stay low, and endure problems so that you can learn to be humble."

What a terrible unbiblical perspective and outlook.

How much better to seed the new believer with faith building words that plant God's value and His opinion in their minds.

"You're precious. You are valuable to God, and to people. God has a purpose that nobody can fulfil as well as you can. God is depending on you. You are Jesus' brother or sister. His Father is your Father. God thought you were worth dying for, you are that important to Him. He and you make a terrific team. You're part of God's family, and so you are destined for success in Christ. God is with you, for you and in you. Jesus has eternally defeated Satan, and you can follow Christ in triumph by trusting in His victory. You are loved, and precious. You are accepted in the beloved forever. You are ordained by God to go into all the world, and proclaim His message to every creature, and lift the bruised and broken with His love."

That is the truth, sealed by the Blood of God. Praise Him!
