Their place will be in the fiery lake of burning sulphur. This is the second death.
What is the Second Death?
When a person dies their spirit leaves the body, and they continue to exist forever.
It must be so because we are created as eternal beings, made in the image of God.
Sinful man cannot walk with God on Earth, how much less can his spirit join God in Heaven after death.
God tells us about the coming resurrection and Judgment:
The sea gave up the dead that were in it, and death and Hades gave up the dead that were in them, and each person was judged according to what he had done. Then death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. The lake of fire is the second death. Rev. 20:13-14 Holy Bible NIV
Jesus warns of the destiny of the cursed:
Depart from me, you who are cursed, into eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. Mtt. 25:41.
Christ's final message, in the last book of the Bible, warns again of this Second Death awaiting sinful man.
The cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practise magic arts, the idolaters, and all liars, their place will be in the fiery lake of burning sulphur. This is the second death. Rev. 21:8

Reaping what is sown
Hades, and the lake of fire, means Hell, eternal separation from God, and torment without end. This is the destiny of all who die in their sins. The 'good and the great', the wicked and vile, the religious and hypocrites, cowards, idol worshippers, liars, and all the sexually immoral are destined for Hell.
The LORD Jesus Christ said so twice in Rev. 21 and 22.
That is why He proclaimed, You must be born again! Jn. 3:7.
Religion and good deeds won't get you to Heaven, church-going, and lip-service don't get you past The Test. There's only one way into Heaven.
Jesus said, I am the way and the truth and the life. No-one comes to the Father except through me. Jn. 14:6.
Christ warned about Hell, and the coming Judgment, more than anybody else in the Holy Bible.
The reason is two-fold; He is the Judge, and He is the Saviour.
He came from Heaven to save you from Hell by dying in your place, in your stead.
Unless you genuinely receive Christ as LORD and Saviour in your heart, you stand condemned to Hell and eternal torment.
Jesus said so, Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God's only begotten Son. Jn. 3:18.
Head-belief, and creeds, are useless to save. All nominal 'Christians' will perish in Hell. Bible belief is of the heart, your innermost being, your spirit. When you have Christ in your heart you will laugh at death because you know you are free of condemnation and Heaven-bound.
Test yourself now, are you afraid of dying? Are you certain of a place in Heaven?
God wants you to be certain and sure.
He paid an enormous Price to give you perfect peace, assurance, and eternal Life.
Receive Christ, and then you will have His confidence and His joy at the prospect of death.
