Q: I have a friend who does magic parties for kids birthdays, she insists it's not witchcraft or anything occult. What should I say to her to deal with this in a Christian manner?
A: I get the picture. "Just innocent party tricks to amuse the kiddies, Don't be such a killjoy".
You're right, she's missing God, and preparing them for Satan's indoctrination; fascinating them with trickery, illusions, and deception. Even the magician's favourite incantation; abracadabra is an occult mystical charm, long used to "ward off" evil spirits. In fact, it has the opposite effect.
Instead, why not put on a puppet show, a funny sketch, or bend balloons? Why use magic?
When kids see a peer doing magic, what will they think when she tries to share the Gospel Truth with them? Even four year old's can see through phonies. Remember?
Tell her in love, kindly, one to one, that she's sinning, and leading children into Satan's arms instead of Christ's. (This can only be done, in humility, by a genuine friend, not the fellowship busybody.)
Christians have nothing to do with evil, deception, or the occult; and all magic has its roots in the occult. She's either very naive, or is being seduced by evil spirits.
Show her the scriptures, and pray with her for God's revelation. If she doesn't repent, tell your fellowship, and warn them not to let her near their children. Do this publicly so others will take note; don't gossip, confront in love. Q: Did Judas Iscariot go to Heaven?
A: Not a chance. God in The Flesh said Judas was doomed to destruction, Jn. 17:12, so that Scripture would be fulfilled. Christ was referring to Ps. 69:22-28, and 109:8, which the Holy Spirit confirms in Acts. 1:15-21 was fulfilled in Judas. Read those passages and you'll see he's Hell bound. In addition, he committed suicide, self-murder; suicide is Satan's short-cut to Hell.
Q: Was Cain a son of God, and was he cursed?
A: Cain, like every child born on Earth (except Christ) was a child of the Devil, not a son of God. He had the same fallen nature as Adam and Eve. They forfeited their relationship with God, and became slaves of Satan. You know what that feels like.
Cain was cursed by God after he murdered his brother Abel. Gen. 4:11.
Q: Are there sons of God and sons of Satan?
A: Each of us is born a child of Satan, with the sinful nature we inherit from Adam and Eve. That is why we all need to be born again.
Only when that happens do we become a child of God. 1 Jn. 3:10, Ro. 3:9-18, Jn. Ch 3.
Which are you? Who is your Father?
