Q: Please, with the help of God, interpret this dream: I dreamt I was in another section of the church with a person whose face was concealed. I said to her I must take off these clothes that I have on, I can't stand it anymore - so I strip.
Then I found myself running in the church naked, and ran up to the choir section of the church, and sat by them, the choir had on cream coloured robes.
Then someone handed me a robe and said put this on and I look at it, it was all wrinkled, and started to put it on, and the person that was with me helped me put it on, and then I woke up. Marilyn
A: Wait! Christians don't run after seers. Asking others to interpret your dreams is dangerous and totally unnecessary. If the dream was from the Lord, simply ask Him to give you the interpretation directly. If He doesn't, then it wasn't from Him. God doesn't tease His children, or get them to chase after 'mystics' to interpret their dreams. That's the Devil's work.
The main way God leads his children is by the inner witness of the Holy Spirit, (1 Jn. 2:27, Ro. 8:14, 1 Jn. 5:14) and it always agrees with His written Word. Follow that, and you'll never go wrong. If you haven't got the inner witness, you are not yet a Christian.
I think the dream is merely a symptom of your own spirit in turmoil.
You're in a dead denomination, or a cult like the Boston ICC. You follow their religious routines, but you know in your heart they can never make you right with God. Your spirit craves peace and Life, not religion. Even if you reject one form, they simply offer you more man-made 'robes' to cover your shame. All religion is utterly useless to save.
There's only one robe that will cover your disgrace, the robe of righteousness given freely to those who are born of God. (Is. 61:10, Ro. 3:21-22) It is spotless, perfect, and free, and there's only one way to get it. Let God clothe you today.
Q: I'm a Holy Ghost filled, tongue talking believer, he's just religious!
I was engaged to the most wonderful man I've ever met (other than Jesus). However, he's a religious Baptist who will jump, shout, hoop and holler over a stupid football game, but doesn't get excited over Jesus - His Saviour.
I broke off my engagement, but can you provide Scripture? I know, "Be ye not unequally yoked". Please help. My heart is broken, but I know the Healer. Shelley
A: He's not so wonderful, in fact, he's a triple loser.
First, he's missing God's plan for his life, second, he's losing power to be an effective witness for Christ, and now he's lost a real Jesus woman.
Shelley, you have done the right thing, stand firm and do not compromise. You are following Wisdom, He will bind up your heart, and give you something far better.
Father can boast about you: You have passed a test. Many women of God married unwisely, and suffered terribly for it. Maria Woodworth-Etter for example, learned the hardest way. Don't waver, continue to avoid that snare, and God will use you more.
Both the Scriptures and the Spirit agree with you.
2 Co. 6:14 speaks directly to your situation. He calls himself "a believer", yet walks in the flesh, not in the Spirit. You'd definitely be unequally yoked had you married him. You would also knowingly put yourself into an awful position, look;
Read Eph. 5:17-33 in the Spirit.
Note verse 17; you are wise, the religious chap is very unwise. You've understood the will of the Lord, v. 18; he has rejected it; you are filled, he is empty. You can obey v. 19; he cannot.
Verses 21 to 24; if you married him, in the home you'd have to submit to him, and he is not filled with God's Spirit. Wisdom clearly would not want you to marry into such a predicament.
As your husband he is commanded to love you as Christ loves you, without being filled with God's Spirit, he can't even begin to do that, can he?
Ephesians is written to Spirit-filled believers, not to lukewarm religious people. Those Ephesians were Spirit-filled tongues talkers. Acts 19 shows how the first ones quickly responded to Paul's ministry, they got filled as soon as they heard of what they lacked. Your chap has heard many times, scoffed, and is still rejecting God's power anointing. He's stubborn towards God, and spiritually dense.
How can God bless him, how can God use him? Furthermore, how can God bless a couple, one flesh in His mind, who are pulling in different directions? For example, the Spirit leads you to open an Aids orphanage in Malawi, 'Hubby' says 'No!' he wants to watch football. The Spirit finds somebody else to be His Hands, whilst yours make grease-burgers to keep Hubby fat and happy.
Well done, stand firm, and stick close to your Saviour, He's got exciting plans for you, that Satan desperately wants to derail.
