A: Christians have power to overcome every temptation (1 Co. 10:13), but for those who choose sin, God gives clear instructions that must be followed in love: 1 Jn. 5:16-17, Jas. 5:19-20, 1 Th. 4:3-7, Gal. 6:1, Col. 3:5-6, Eph. 5:3-7, Gal. 5:19-21, 1 Co. 6:9-20. 1 Co. Ch. 5, 1 Tim. 5:19-20.

Broken promises

A: Understand that the Bible teaches Christians to pray to God their Father, in the Name of Jesus, not to the Holy Spirit. Jn. 16:23-24.

There are plenty of antiChrist spirits masquerading as the 'Holy Spirit', 1 Jn. 4:1-3, so pray the way we are taught to do as New Covenant believers.

About your broken promise: Just ask Father yourself and He will tell you the truth, Jas. 1:5. 1 Jn. 5:10-15 is the Bible foundational proof of salvation that nobody can gainsay.

You have what you say

A: When your words are based on heart-faith in the Word of God, assuredly! By your words you will be condemned or acquitted. Mtt. 12:37.

That is why it is so vital to make sure what you believe in your heart, and say with your mouth, agrees with the eternal Word of God. Ro. 10:10. All of these books are excellent on this topic.

The danger of backsliding

A: Saved from Hell, yes, (1 Co. 5:5, Heb. 13:5, Eph. 4:30, 1 Jn. 2:27) but wide open to every satanic attack, because you rebel against the One you claim as Lord, and walk with the Devil.

Come back into the light before your enemy kills you. Father has work prepared in advance for you to do. (Eph. 2:10). Don't spend another second in sin, and squalor. He's waiting with Arms open wide, longing for you to Repent and return to Him. You'll never be happy, or safe, until you do.

God has often used me to warn backsliders, and sinners. To my horror, many times, those who have refused Him have been dead in weeks. Every backslider, and every sinner reading this: Repent Now!

What are Bishops for?

A: See Ti. 1:7-9. Basically keeping the fellowship sound on the Gospel of Christ, and the fullness of Redemption, encouraging and setting an example in holiness, and godliness.

I prefer the less religious term, elder, or overseer. Bishops connotes; gin-blushed, fat-bellied, effeminates, who spend their time perfecting pomposity, and molesting choir-boys.

Be rid of religious jargon

A: It is another awful remnant of the religious jargon Roman Catholics invented. It isn't in the Holy Bible. They used it to designate a list of 'sacred acts' or ceremonies.

The Reformation threw out the unbiblical ones, and retained just Believer's Water Baptism, and The Lord's Supper. Such terminology is best avoided because of its religious connotations.
