The only marriage in Heaven

Q: How does Lk. 20:27-39 answer the question about believers not being married to each other in Heaven? Joanne

A: This touches on something almost too wonderful to discuss, because no words of mine could do it justice.

The key point is; Christ answered plainly stating that resurrected believers will neither marry nor be given in marriage. The context meaning, to each other.

Yet we know that there is going to be a marriage in the Glory, when the Lamb marries His Bride. Rev. 19:9. Also prophesied throughout Song of Songs, Ho. 2:16 and elsewhere.

You know who the Bride is don't you? And she can only marry one Husband. Ask Jesus to show you personally what this means, He longs to tell you Himself.

Smoke without fire

Q: Why do so many Christians I know still smoke cigarettes; I thought you stopped that when born again? Cathy

Bound by nicotine addiction

A: Most are probably unsaved nominal 'Christians'. The rest; ignorance of the Gospel, and lack of wholehearted repentance. You are right Cathy, wake them up! When God's Fire burns in your heart there will be no smoking. See these questions about: Smoking in the Bible, and Deliverance from addictions.

But it's Him!

Q: How is having a picture of Jesus idolatry? Joanne

A: Because that is exactly what God calls it; De. 4:15-17, 5:8, Ex. 20:4, 1 Co. 10:14, 1 Jn. 5:21, etc. He wants you to love, worship, and follow Him, not idolise Him. See more about Pictures of Jesus.
