Q: What does the Word say about the 'gold dust revival'? Damian
A: It would be included in the warnings about counterfeit signs and wonders, such as; Mtt. 24:24, 2 Co. 11:13-15, and Rev. 13:13.
We must have the genuine miraculous power of Christ in demonstration, but there's plenty going on today that has nothing whatsoever to do with God. That is why we must stick close to the LORD Jesus Christ, and follow Him, not men.
I saw photos of similar counterfeit signs in Buddhist temples in Thailand a couple of years ago. Monks were supernaturally draped in 'gold' filaments and 'gold' veils. Entirely demonic of course.
Q: What happened to Jesus' Father, Joseph? Randy
A: It is unknown Randy, the Scriptures don't tell us. But I understand your curiosity, he must have been a remarkable man. Joseph appears to have died relatively young.
His situation was unique, and the temptation to doubt and sin must've been intense. Perhaps he fell into sin. His wife, Mary, certainly doubted and sinned, even to the extent of accompanying and encouraging His Brothers to stop Christ preaching, declaring; He is out of his mind! Mk. 3:21,31-32, Mtt. 12:46-50. Whoops, how embarrassing for her now. (Don't tell Catholics, they worship Mary you know.) Jesus valiantly stuck to His Mission and brushed aside their satanic attack. There's plenty of apocryphal speculation about Joseph, but we must wait to find out the truth, from The Truth.
Q: 1 Jn. 3:6-10, appears to state that Christians do not sin. So if a Christian sins, he is not of God: True or not?
A: No, such an absolute interpretation would contradict the many other NT Scriptures exhorting Christians not to sin, and the ones telling us what to do if we have sinned.
Of course Christians are able to sin, but genuine believers repent, they cannot go on sinning. This is another case of the NIV translating those verses better than the KJV. Notice the NIV has, keeps on sinning, continue to sin, and cannot go on sinning. That is the Holy Ghost meaning. The only perfect Christian, was Christ.
Q: Why does God allow people to be born disabled, or allow them to be abused by others? Kim
A: That is answered in reply to an E-pistle question about why God allows suffering.
Q: I use only the NKJV Bible, Is there anything wrong in it?
A: No, it's an excellent translation. But I think you lose out by only using one English version.
Q: How do I prove I love someone?
Jn. 15:9-17, Jn. 14:15, 23-24, Mt. 10:37-38.
Q: How do I convert a Hindu to Christianity? CP
A: Follow the example of this young woman who led an Indian Guru to Christ.
Q: Who is God, and where does He come from?
A: The LORD Jesus Christ is Almighty God in the Flesh, and He came from Heaven to save you. See why: You Must be Born Again.
Q: How to be forgiven by God?
A: He's made it really easy for you. See Forgiveness of Sins.
