One God: One Way

Q: The Bible tells me to worship one God. Is that Jesus or The Father? Serena

A: Both, and don't leave out the Holy Spirit. God is a Trinity: One God existing eternally in three Persons.

Jesus said that when you see Him, you see the Father. Jn. 14:8-11. And when you believe in Him you believe in the Father. Jn. 12:44. Understand that Christ is Almighty God in the Flesh. Col. 1:9. When you worship Jesus you are worshipping God.

The LORD will make it clearer to you by revelation after you Receive Christ as your Saviour. Mtt. 16:17.

The fact that you are here, and asking, is evidence that Father is drawing you to Christ. Jn. 6:44.

The Great Falling Away

Q: Why are the Methodists, and other denominations, falling away from the Truth? Michael

A: Most of the major denominations have been seduced into apostasy. The United Methodist Church (UMC) is one of the worst, but it is also rampant in the others as they follow Satan's ecumenical spirit.

It will only get worse, and I advise you to come out now, and find a Bible believing Spirit-filled fellowship. 2 Co. 6:17-18.

Why is it happening? Because sinners prefer ear-tickling rather than the Gospel. The current falling away is also widely prophesied in the Scriptures, for example 1 Tim. 4:1, and 2 Tim. 4:3-4.

Faith is an action

Q: I want to act my faith, is it okay to testify that God healed me although I haven't seen the result? Marlon

A: God's order, according to Ro. 10:8-10, and Ro. 4:17b, is first, you believe His Word in your heart, then you confess it with your mouth, then you have it.

This is the clear principle laid down by the Carpenter who is God; Mk. 11:22-25. Note carefully the order; heart faith in God's Promises, confession of it as accomplished, then God supplies it. We are to walk by faith, not by sight.

Note: You are not denying symptoms, rather you are believing God's Word on the matter above all things. That is Bible faith. If you are straining to believe something, you don't believe it in your heart. Heart faith has it now, and isn't moved by sight, feelings, or bad reports. Read some Wigglesworth, he's marvellous on living faith. Remember what 'Amen' means.

The Devil's Music?

Q: You have said before that most rock music is evil, does the same go for Christian rock music? Jess

A: Personally, I don't like (or listen to) it, and there's plenty of dubious 'Christian' artistes even in the CCM scene. In addition, the term rock has become so broad that it has little useful focus.

My advice is to listen to the Holy Spirit with integrity, He'll let you know if something is whiffy. If you are not sure about a piece or genre, then steer well clear of it.

Some of the most anointed singers I've ever heard are former glue-sniffers, crack-heads, and junkies. They do ROCK music, and have no time for 'rock' of any kind.

Smoking in the Bible

A: Plenty! Start here: 1 Co. 3:16-17, then go to Col. 3:7, meditate on 2 Pe. 2:19, 2 Tim. 2:22 and 1 Pe. 4:2. Study the many exhortations to self-discipline and self-control, then finally, understand that smoking is a form of sorcery. It is included under the category of witchcraft (Greek: pharmakeus) in Gal. 5:20, along with idolatry, and debauchery.

Nicotine is a spell-giving potion, or inhalation, that deludes and poisons people. Christ will set you free from all addictions, if you are willing to Repent and follow Him.

Regenerated in Christ

Q: How does a person change after they are saved and become a Christian?

A: Terrific question! First, God gives them a new heart, a new Life, a new Spirit, right in the core of their being. God's eternal Life! They switch from Satan's family to God's, becoming new creations in Christ.

As they begin to follow the leading of God's Spirit they are transformed gradually into reflections of Christ; bearing His fruit, and continuing His ministry on earth. It's what you were made for. Do you want to Start a new righteous life in Christ?

A: Repent, believe, receive, and follow The LORD Jesus Christ, He always leads in triumph over every evil thing. 2 Co. 2:14. Your Eternal Breakthrough.
