Q: I've been married before, how can any Christian man marry me without committing adultery? Amy
A: One way is if your husband died (1 Co. 7:39). Another, is if you were unsaved when you were divorced. (Please don't reach for the breadknife, or pretend you were not saved!)
But c'mon Sis, read the whole of that chapter, and you'll see that you are far better off remaining single. Quit gambling. Time is short, be about Father's business. Stick with your First Love, He'll never let you down.
Q: Where can I find a Vietnamese Bible?
A: The Gospel is flourishing in Vietnam, despite terrible persecution. Send these Vietnamese Tracts and Bibles to them.
Q: Can a person who gives a message in tongues interpret that same message? Dennis
A: Yes, 1 Co. 14:13 encourages the individual who brings the tongues message to ask God for the interpretation, so they can edify the assembly.
Smith Wigglesworth was noted for both speaking in tongues, and then interpreting the message, whilst he was actually preaching.
Encourage the use of the Gifts of the Holy Spirit, but watch out for the counterfeits. Leaders should shut them up quickly when they spot one. 2 Co. 11:14.
Q: Do you recommend the New King James version of the Bible for new believers?
A: The NKJV is a fine translation, I use it myself, though I prefer the Tyndale NT with the KJV for accuracy and beauty, combined with the NIV for clarity and communication. Remember The Best Bible Translation.
Q: Who is God?
A: The LORD Jesus Christ is Almighty God in the Flesh. Look up the Bible references given here: Jesus is LORD.
Q: Is Lucid Dreaming demonic?
A: It could be, especially if the purpose of the dream was sin. In any case, it's certainly abnormal, and alarming. You will be released from it if you are saved, and claim the promise of Pr. 3:24.
Keep in mind; medics prescribe drugs attempting to control the work of demons: God's Medicine is His Word, and He drives them out.
Q: Got any Bible tracts for Tweens and Teens?
A: There's a range of tracts for Children of all ages. (Hint: Allow teenagers to think they are grown up, but don't forget they are still kids.)
Q: What does it mean when the Bible says Jesus will judge the quick and the dead?
A: See The Quick and The Dead.
Q: What is an intellectual demon?
A: Do you mean a demon who tries to cause you to doubt the Gospel by intellectual reasoning and questions? I've certainly met sinners ensnared in that situation. Confrontation with the Gospel, in love, deals with those. I once learned a powerful lesson answering such questions from a Swedish weightlifter. See Go to those who will listen.
Q: What are the general practices of born again Christians? Rizza
A: With respect, that sounds like a question from somebody indoctrinated by religion. Understand, Christianity is not about rituals, rites, ceremonies, and practices. It's about following the Living God; walking in His Life, trusting that everything that needs to be done for our salvation was accomplished once and for all by The LORD Jesus Christ. Oh it is so wonderful to have real Peace with God, and you'll never get it through any religion or works of your own.
