Meaning of the Cross

A: It is where God died to give you His Life. Christ took your place, your sin, your diseases, your infirmities, your guilt, and your punishment, to set you free from sin and all its consequences. Gal. 3:13-14.

It is where you died, in Christ. Gal. 2:20, Col. 3:3. NB. Avoid idolatrous Cross symbols and idols. We worship the Living Christ, not the chunk of wood He died on.

A: No, it is blatant idolatry. Paintings, icons, crucifixes, and stained glass windows, all lead people away from the Living Christ into the snare of idolatry, and should be destroyed. God still hates idolatry. Deu. 5:8.

Statement of Faith

A: From your heart, completely, immediately, just like your Father forgives you: Forgiveness of Sin. Col. 3:13, Eph. 4:32. Anything less will cripple your walk with God, and make you sick. Don't wait for the sinner to come and ask for forgiveness, forgive the sin, then when they come and ask forgiveness, you can show that you have forgiven the person who sinned against you.

Do I need to be Baptised?

A: You were 'Christened' when you were an infant, that is not baptism. It is a demonic religious counterfeit. Water baptism is only for born again believers. Read our articles on Baptism and get baptised in obedience to your new Lord.

A: More powerful than Mace! The last time a pair dared to approach me I used 2 Jn. 10, told them to repent or perish, and rebuked them in the Name of the LORD. You could actually see them wither. They slithered away, and haven't been back since. They can sometimes get saved, I know a bloke who was a Jehovah's Witness (Jay Dub) for over 20 years, before he found out he was following Satan.

Christian Science

A: It's a bizarre metaphysical cult propagated by Mary Baker-Eddy during the last century. The 'Christiadelphians' are similar. Practically everything they teach denies God's Word. For example they claim sin is unreal, that there's no final Judgment, death is an illusion, and of course they deny the deity of Christ. Bonkers! Incidentally, Smith Wigglesworth led the UK's chief proponent of Christian Science to repent of her wickedness, and receive Christ, as she lay dying: Then God healed her, and sent her back to preach the true Gospel where she'd previously sown Satan's lies.

Why faith?

Q: Why did God choose faith as a means to come to Him?

A: Another perfect question. Love is His motivation, faith is His transportation. Love and faith are His Nature. He knew we could never save ourselves so He wrought salvation for us. He lifts us up to His level, and the only thing He demands in return is our loving faith in Him. If you love and trust Him, you will obey Him. Eph. 2:1-10, Jn. 14:15, 23-24. What a God we serve!
