Demonic objects at home

Q: Can objects like pictures, statues, or even places, have or hold demons?

A: Demons associate themselves with all kinds of objects and places in order to lure people into idolatry. Behind every idol is a demon. See. 1 Co. 10:18-21.

That is why when sinners turn to Christ they must destroy their idols, and cleanse their homes of all the trappings of superstition, religion and idolatry. Here's an example of a deaf demon associated with a cross: God Still Hates Idolatry.

Nicolatians

Q: Who are the Nicolatians (Nicolaitanes KJV) in Revelation? Sandra

A: Not to be confused with the Nicotines (cough, cough!) The Nicolatians were followers of a false-teacher called Nicolas, and are mentioned in Rev. 2:6 and 15. The ascended Christ saying that He hates their deeds and doctrine.

They claimed to be Christian but worshipped idols and indulged in sexual immorality. Keep in mind that idolatry is spiritual prostitution, and is still common amongst professing 'Christians'. That is why we warn people to Repent from idolatry.

Approaching the End of the World

A: God's Word tells us we are already in the Last Days, this is the last hour, the season of the end has begun. See 1 Jn. 1:18, Mtt. Ch.24. But too many Christians are getting carried away by propaganda from the Uncle Sam cult.

Tai Chi exercises

A: No. Tai Chi exercises are based on Taoism, and occult mysticism. People who take part in them are consorting with demons. That applies to Reflexology, Feng Shui, as well as other New Age 'alternative therapies' such as Reiki, acupuncture, aromatherapy, homeopathy, and so on.

Writing in your Bible

Q: Rev. 22:18 warns us not to add words to what God has written, so is it wrong to write in my Bible?

A: That warning is against adding to the Revelation prophecy. Annotating your Bible in study is fine, in fact making personal margin notes is an excellent way to apply God's Word personally, which is what God wants.

Sealed in water-baptism?

Q: Are believers sealed with the Holy Spirit at water baptism?

A: Definitely not! That's a common false teaching of many cults. (LDS, SDA, JW, ICC, etc.) Water baptism comes after the sealing, or it is a worthless exercise. Believers are sealed with the Holy Spirit the instant they receive Christ as LORD and Saviour. The Born Again Baptism is the only baptism that saves. Eph. 1:13.

Crucifying the flesh

A: Only born again believers in Christ have the Holy Spirit inside them. Once you are saved, and Spirit-filled, He will lead you intimately by the Inner Witness. 1 Jn. 2:27.
