Q: Are there any documented cases of a creative pregancy miracle? Specifically, where God created a womb, and then the woman became pregnant? Cynthia
A: Every pregnancy is a creative miracle. Reproduction at both the cellular, and the species level, is truly Divine in all organisms. Here's why...
He said; "Let there be", "bring forth" and "be fruitful and multiply"; it is the sustaining power of His eternal Word that still powers reproduction. Never forget that, when you look at an ant, a daisy, or a baby. Gen. Ch. 1, Heb. 1:3, Col 1:17.
What you mean is, can a barren woman become pregnant; even one with no womb?
Of course; if God wants her to, and she believes His Word.
Creative miracles are no more difficult for Christ, than healing miracles. The requirement is simple faith and obedience.
I've personally witnessed instant creative miracles such as; crippled limbs lengthening, deaf ears opening, the dumb speaking, and blind eyes seeing.
Is it astonishing that He who made all things, can re-make vocal cords, eyeballs, corneas, retinas, ear drums, cerebral cortex, and bone? Of course not, and He can still make wombs as well.
The best documented, and most reliable case is Sarah in Genesis Chs. 17,18,21.
Ro. 4:19 tells us this 90 year-old woman's womb was dead.
Her ovaries were as hard as olive stones, and her endometrium was like tanned leather.
I'm a farm vet, as well as a missionary, and we determine the fertility of cows, buffalos, and camels, by the shape and size of their ovaries during rectal examination. We tell by the feel of the uterus the state of the endometrium. That is how I know, through my right hand, what a barren womb and dead ovaries feel like.
Sarah had a womb, but it was dead, only a creative miracle of God could make her bear a child.
And it was as He said to her. Is anything too hard for the LORD? Gen. 18:14
But I am curious why you ask.
Why is it so important for you to become pregnant and have a baby? Are your genes essential to the next generation?
Stop and think. You have something far more precious than your chromosomes to pass on: The Gospel and Word of God.
You have a more important mission in these final days than breeding children.
There are plenty doing that.
Some women make an idol out of their child, and use it as an excuse to stop them fulfilling their main purpose on Earth.
We don't need more children, we need more labourers, not women in labour. (Mtt. 9:37-38)
You want kids? Why not go to Asia or Africa, and set up an Aids orphanage? Jesus heals Aids, malaria, and TB by His Word.
There's no shortage of malnourished unloved children who need a good Christian mother. Share the love and message of Christ with them, and they will love you more than your own child would.
Jesus will supply everything you need, as you go in faith, looking only to Him to provide. Jas. 1:27
That is what He does for anyone who dares to believe and follow Him. Jn. 16:23-24
