Here's a tip that will bless you from the moment you're saved to your home-call.
Develop the habit of applying the Word of God personally, as if God is speaking His Word directly to you.
For example, where the Holy Spirit talks of believers in general, include your name, and read it out loud.
Like this;
For God so loved [your name] that he gave his one and only Son, that [your name] should believe in him, and not perish, but have eternal life. Jn.3:16
And this;
I write to you dear [your name], because your sins have been forgiven on account of his name. 1 Jn. 2:12
Or this;
He has rescued [your name] from the dominion of darkness and brought [your name] into the kingdom of the Son he loves, in whom [your name] has redemption, the forgiveness of sins. Col. 1:13-14
Do it now, and you will experience new blessing and power in those words.
Meditate on them applied in that form, and you will weep in worship at God's grace. Scales will fall from your eyes, your doctrinal niggles will dissolve, and you will begin to see Christ in you, your hope of Glory.
If you can take some more, relish Ephesians 2 read that way, and you will become putty in His hands.
And for those waiting and praying for confirmation of a ministry call, wake up, stop wasting time, read Mtt. 28:18-21 with your name included. That is your call, it is enough, now obey it.
