'I'm single and have been born again for two years. I got into a sexual relationship, and now I'm pregnant. I thought about getting rid of it. I know God will forgive me, but my main problem is the judgement of people who look up to me. I am no longer going out with the guy as I couldn't keep on sinning. What do you suggest?'

Answer: Thank you for your question, that took courage.

Your LORD and Saviour warns us all:

'The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.'
Holy Bible John 10:10 KJV

First, just get right with God, confess ALL your sin to Him, ask His forgiveness, and *turn away from it*. Once you've done that, be assured of God's complete forgiveness. And declare it loudly!

Secondly, realise that every thought you've had of killing your baby is directly from Hell. God is knitting your child together in your womb right now, and to kill your child is to rebel against the One you call LORD, and to submit to Satan. You won't do that will you?

Satan is a liar, he encourages you to add murder to fornication, in order to salvage your pride. Pride is more important than life to the devil. With God, life is more important than pride.

But because you are NOT going to kill your baby, you listen to the still small Voice of the Holy Spirit saying; "She's beautiful, I'm giving her your eyes, your complexion, and we will raise her together. Don't worry about your relatives, and the scorn, I'll lead you over those hurdles as they come. I'll provide all you need. Trust in ME."

Remember how David fell into sin, committed adultery, got a married woman pregnant, and arranged for the murder of her husband to hide his own shame? It didn't work ... EVERYONE found out about David's one-night-stand, didn't they? Here we are talking about it more than 2,000 years later. Shame on King David!

So come clean with those who respect you. How could you look them in the eye knowing you killed a baby? Instead, have the child, raise her with God's help, love and cherish her with God's love. If you try to cover your sin with more sin, how can God bless you?

I know many women who have had abortions, and *ALL of them regret it bitterly until the day they die*. I also know many unmarried mothers who've come to Christ, and they are accepted in the beloved, they walk with self-respect and dignity, loving their children, knowing that Jesus was scorned for righteousness sake, yet bore it with grace. How much more ought we to bare scorn due because of our own folly?

But the Saints won't give you a hard time Sister. None of us is without sin compared to God's standard.

So, chin up, determine to make the best of it, and NEVER give any place to the thief, the liar, and the Killer.

You have Life in your spirit, from God. And the life in your womb is also from God. Cherish it, honour Him, and He WILL, make YOUR path straight.

Promise God now, that you'll not kill this beautiful child.

The Righteous are as Bold as a Lion

Innocent as doves: bold as lions. The kingdom of God is advancing in the hands of forceful believers. Not the force of flesh, and weapons that kill, but Heaven endorsing God's children who dare to confront the powers of darkness in Christ's Name. Their only weapon is God's Word, and it brings life.

I heard a Kiwi evangelist called Kevin Mudford give his testimony in 1988. Before he was saved, he was practically out of his mind, either in a strait-jacket, jail, or a mental hospital. In his cell Kevin called out to God, 'I wanna know what love is!' And God showed him Jesus; Kevin was born again, released sound in mind, and on fire for Christ. A new creation, bold as his Lord.

He immediately went into the toughest New Zealand saloons to challenge the Maori equivalent of 'Hell's Angels'. They are called the 'Mongrel Mob', and they eat little white blokes like Kevin for breakfast. But he'd go up to the bar, poke them in the chest and issue this challenge, 'I dare you to listen to what I have to say!

Every head would turn; he had a congregation. Then he'd tell what Jesus has done for us, and the fire always fell upon the listeners. Often he'd be the only one left standing, those tough guys were kneeling, weeping, pouring out their hearts to Christ asking for mercy.

You can do that too, when you accept your righteousness in Christ, and declare it boldly as the Lion of Judah wants you to. Only the righteous can do this, and there's only one way to get it.
