Luther's Bible: Saved by Grace
In case you missed this wonderful news item, which the mass media buried under NWO propaganda, we've highlighted it in an article.
For those of a weak disposition, who cannot bear the thought of any books being burned: brace yourselves! Personally, I long for the day when every book is tested by the Fire of God (1 Co. 3:13), and only those inspired by the Spirit of God will survive: the rest will be but cinders under our dancing feet.
Luther the Film Star: There's also a well reviewed film on Martin Luther out this month on DVD, starring Joseph Fiennes

Subscriber's Question and Answer
Where do demons, and Satan, come from? Do Christians believe in ghosts? Should I be afraid of them?
Answer: Demons are evil spirits, fallen angels. A third of all angels joined the Archangel Lucifer in the rebellion against God, and were cast out of Heaven to earth, and Hell. Lucifer lost his status, to become Satan, and his angels became demons. (See Is. 14:12-15, Lk. 10:18, Rev. Ch. 12)
They are created spiritual beings without bodies, able to influence people through thoughts, the flesh, and senses. They endeavour to cause people to sin, and destroy them. Degrees of influence vary from oppression to possession. Most sickness is due to evil spirits, (Ac. 10:38), but complete deliverance comes through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. Spirit-filled believers have authority over evil spirits through faith in the Name of Jesus.
Christians believe in the Holy Ghost, The Spirit of God. What are commonly called 'ghosts' are actually evil spirits. Many haunted house and ghost stories are pure fiction. However demons are ubiquitous, and their manifestations much more mundane. You'll find them in hospitals causing cancer and paralysis, in assylums inducing mental illness, and all compulsive sin, such as sexual sins; alcoholism, drug taking, gambling, eating disorders, and stealing, is directly caused by oppression or possession by evil spirits. (Eph. 2:2, Ac. 10:38)
Evil spirits are also rife in places of false worship (1 Co. 10:20-21, 1 Tim. 4:1), leading people to trust in religion instead of the Lord Jesus Christ. Seducing them to offer their own sacrifices instead of trusting solely in the Sacrifice of God to take away their sins.
For example, the Catholic Mass is entirely demonic, as is Muslim, Hindu, Taoist, and Buddhist 'worship'. And many 'Christian' fellowships have been taken over by demons, just as foretold in 1 Tim. 4:1.
All are overcome and driven out by genuine faith in the LORD Jesus Christ. Christians walking in the Spirit have nothing to fear from evil spirits: on the contrary, demons fear Christians who exercise their authority in Christ. (Jas. 4:7)

Power Evangelism Tip
'Let's Pray...': The Sinner's Prayer
You've shared the Gospel with a sinner, they're receptive, but nervous, they have lots of questions. You answer many, but there comes a point when the Holy Spirit nudges you to get them to stop dithering and come to Christ.
You have two options:
If you are sure they know how to come to Christ you can tell them to go and find a quiet place alone to pray and get right with God. A missionary friend of mine, of 40 years experience, prefers this method. But many sinners haven't a clue how to come to Christ, even when they desperately want to.
That was the case with me, and oh how grateful I was to find somebody who knew how to lead me to Christ, and seeing I was ready uttered that soul saving offer:
'Let's pray together shall we'.
He led me in the sinner's prayer, but I was too overcome to repeat the words, and all I could do was answer a heartfelt yes to each of the salient points.
'Colin, do you want to ask Jesus to forgive your sins? Yes!
'Do you want to ask Him to come into your heart as Saviour?' Yes!
'Do you want to make Jesus Christ Lord of your life?' Yes!
That was enough for Jesus, and He filled my heart with His love, peace, and joy, and I've followed Him ever since.
So, in your witnessing, always try to end with an offer to pray together.
'Before we part, shall we pray together?'
Most people will agree out of respect, but even if they scowl just close your eyes and begin to pray out loud and from your heart. Thank the Lord for His love, and message of salvation, and for the person you are praying with. Ask Him to bless them, to open the eyes of their spirit to see how precious they are to Him, and what He's done for them.
Soon the Spirit will fall, and even hard cases will bow their heads with you, and the Lord will work.
This is important: Do not end the prayer, keep praying, and before you close say something like,
'While our heads are bowed, and the Lord is here, are you ready to receive Him into your heart?'
Now wait for them to respond.
Don't press; you've done all you can; it is between Christ and the sinner.
If they say, no, close with a blessing on them. If they say, yes, then lead them to Christ using the sinner's prayer.
The cults fume and spit, 'Where is the sinner's prayer in the Bible?' they challenge.
They are so blinded by Satan they cannot see that it is implicit throughout the New Covenant, and shining from every page.
The whole point of the sinner's prayer is that it brings sinners to do precisely what the Scriptures say you must do to be saved. Personally come to Christ repenting and believing on Him, calling on Him for forgiveness, receiving Him, and confessing Him as Lord.
The words can vary as long as they cover these vital Gospel facts. That is why God is thrilled to bless with eternal life anyone who prays it sincerely.
Look how He blessed these people who received Christ by praying the sinner's prayer.
