Introduction

'If anyone is in Christ, s/he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come! ... God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.'
Holy Bible, 2 Co. 5:17 + 21 NIV

Greetings!
Welcome to all new subscribers. (We've been waiting for you.)

God's Word teaches that there's no inbetween, right now you are either; a sinner or a saint, lost or saved, condemned to Hell, or Heaven bound. These are basic Gospel facts we use to wake up those still dead in sin. But how many Christians live in the revelation that they are New Creatures in Christ, bearing the righteousness of God, as God declares? How many live by mental assent, failing to embrace the reality of Christ's Blood-bought victory offered to every born again believer? This month we introduce you to E.W. Kenyon, whose anointed writing and preaching lifts us from the traditions of men, to live in the New Creation realities of God's Living Word.

A dying Buddhist stroke victim receives a miracle from Christ, and an aged Thai Buddhist Nun finally achieves genuine enlightenment. Don't miss this month's Power Evangelism Tip, The Joy of the Lord. The Book of the Month is 'Jesus The Healer'. It's the one today's most effective evangelists cut their teeth on. A reader asks an E-pistle question about TV, and we comment on the expansion of the AntiChrist spirit's empire.

Subscriber's Question and Answer

'I used to watch everything on TV before I was saved, but now I find I'm less interested. Is this normal? Is it OK for Christians to watch television?'

Answer: 'Everything is permissible' - but not everything is constructive ... whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God. Holy Bible, 1 Co. 10:23b, 31b. NIV

Within a few weeks of being saved in 1988, I sold my TV, and haven't had one since. Nobody told me to get rid of the telly, it just wasn't being watched because we were too busy reading our Bibles and evangelising. When I did see some English television programmes on my Mum's TV, I couldn't bare to sit through them. Soaps were gossip, lust, and fighting, the news was ungodly propaganda, and the 'Christian' slots were insipid ecumenical confetti preparing the way for the One World Religion. Something inside my heart just turned me away from it.

So Praise God for your change of heart, it's the Holy Spirit working within you, urging you to do what pleases God. As a new believer, you'll probably notice more changes in numerous attitudes you have. Pop music becomes unbearable, many newspapers and magazines unreadable, you develop an appetite for prayer, and you hunger for God's Word, fellowship, and true worship of Him. All this is normal for Christians. Some of the cults ban their captives from watching TV, drinking coffee, and such like, but what I'm describing is a million miles from this. It's the voluntary outworking of the new creation following the Lord Jesus Christ. (See 2 Co. 5:17)

The media; TV, print, radio, internet, and cinema, are almost fully under the control of the AntiChrist spirit, the ruler of the kingdom of the air, the spirit who is now at work in those who are disobedient. (See Eph. Ch.2) This is most plainly seen in the way American public opinion is manipulated by a barrage of government and corporate propaganda building a consensus to elect a stream of Satan's puppets, to do his bidding. The Anglo-US invasion of Afghanistan and Iraq, with their associated, and continuing, war crimes are clear examples of this strategy, though it is not at all new. Indeed, it was the US propagandists who suggested that Britain set up the BBC in the 1920's for this very purpose. Today, CNN, the BBC, and the rest, are essential tools in the AntiChrist spirit's armoury.

So, 'Is it OK for Christians to watch TV?' Answer that for yourself. Does it build you up in the Lord? Does watching it glorify Christ? Is the Lord telling you to watch it, or is He leading you to go out and bring in those lost lambs?

Even so called 'Christian TV', is for the most part corrupted and subverts the Gospel of Christ. I've seen some bright spots, a few anointed preachers on TV, (T.L. Osborn, Colin Urquhart, R.W. Schambach, Reinhard Bonnke), but very few. The most popular 'Christian' slot in the US, Trinity Broadcasting Network, is an appalling ecumenical circus, Satan loves it!

Very soon the true Gospel message will be banned in the US, UK, and Europe, as it is already throughout most of the world. The only way sinners will be able to hear it will be from the anointed lips of true believers going into the market places, homes and tribal villages just like they did in Bible days.

There's no better time to learn how to do that, and The Teacher is ready to instruct you personally. Will you forsake the TV idol, and go? You'll never look back!

Power Evangelism Tip

The Joy of the Lord is Your Strength

You can have joy in the midst of trials that will draw sinners to Christ. If you are on the mountain top, look up, rejoice and praise Him. If you are in the darkest valley of despair, look up and rejoice even more, because Christ is bringing you to Glory. A wealthy woman called a plumber to fix her pipes that he did with a serenity that moved her to enquire what made him so happy. "I'd pay anything to have such joy!" she ventured. He replied that it was seeing the Lord heal his son when he laid hands on him in Jesus' Name, just before visiting her. His name was Smith Wigglesworth.

Another famous evangelist, 'Gypsy' Smith, told of the errand boy so filled with the joy of the Lord that he couldn't stop himself whistling and rejoicing no matter what awful tasks he was burdened with. "Where did you get that, Lad?" His Boss grunted, "I got it from the Lord, Sir. After I gave my life to Him at the Chapel." Naturally, it wasn't long before the Boss 'got it' too. The Lord used the joy of a precious woman crippled by arthritis and heart problems to open my eyes to my sinfulness and poverty.

You can't force or fake the joy of the Lord, it comes supernaturally from looking to Him, loving Him, and following Him, and when you've got it, everyone around you will know, and want it too. So look to Him and your face will be radiant, and don't hide your light under a basket. Just shine!
