Introduction
'God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise...' Holy Bible, 1 Co. 1:27 NIV
Greetings God's Chosen Fools!
The 'wise' world looks forward to 2006, whilst we 'fools' have our eyes fixed on Eternity; The Beginning and The End: The LORD Jesus Christ.
Christ grew in wisdom by seeking and listening to God's Word (Lk. 2:52). It is the same for us today, and He gives wisdom freely to all believers without finding fault.
Let's start the new year by diving into the backlog of excellent E-pistle questions subscriber's have sent in covering sex, death, marriage, Hell, Catholic idolatry, polygamy, and even some sensitive issues like the KJV-only doctrine.
I think you'll enjoy it, so get stuck in Saints! Oh, and you Tiger hunters should scroll down to the bottom of this page

Polygamy in the Bible
Polygamy is legal in much of the world today.
The Mormon cult founders pointed to them as justification for their own polygamy. An embarrassing fact the LDS are desperately trying to hide.
The majority of women find the practice deeply offensive, so what is God's view of a man having several wives? Does He approve, and is it Christian?
Pre-marital Sex, Death, and the KJV only?
The old KJV chestnut, a former Catholic wonders if his painting of Christ is an idol, a teenager wants to know if she can have sex before marriage, and an African reader asks what happens to those who don't believe in God when they die.
Sex and Marriage: Question and Answer
Yikes! There's no need to make your pastor's toes curl, and cheeks blush, because you'll find all the gnarley ones here.
Warning: Nothing tacky, but parents may want to check it before letting their kids read on...

Editor's Perspective
Be Awake, Aware, and Alert
Just as it was in the days of Noah, sinners will continue their madness right until the end.
God's Hand is about to roll up the carpet of time and pull it from under those who've ignored, ridiculed, or rebelled against His Word.
Yet most are sound asleep in sin, going on with their lives as if they have only themselves to answer to. Wake them up! God will bring every act, thought, and motive into Judgment. Rejoice you Saints, and quake you sinners!
The signs of the Last Days are so obvious that even atheists are open-mouthed and cow-eyed.
Climatic turmoil, natural disasters, famines, wars and rumours of wars, epidemics, and counterfeit Christs abound. Jesus' final prophetic words are being fulfilled before your eyes, and mankind is without excuse.
Aren't you glad you know where you stand with God, and what the verdict of your Judgment will be?
Stay alert with your eyes on Christ, not men. Keep in fellowship with Him, and He will get you ready for the coming tumult. Snuggle under His Wing, and watch the thousands fall all around you.
Your leaders will try to deceive you, both political and 'church' leaders have shown themselves utterly corrupt and led by the antiChrist spirit.
Even Bush and Blair's closest cronies are distancing themselves before the tumbrel calls for their masters. Despite the compliant media echoing their lies as dutiful propagandists, most people have realised they've been had. Bush's popularity ratings now mirror Nixon's at their lowest.
Blair's attempts to introduce a Police State in the UK have caused the scales to fall from the eyes of many. For example, this year every single car journey will be monitored and recorded by roadside cameras. New British passports have Mark of the Beast technology in them.
Your part is to rejoice, press in close to Christ, love your enemies, and proclaim His Word unto the End.
The Good News is: It won't be long coming.

Subscriber's Q & A: When will I die?
I'm wondering how long I will live. Do I have an appointed time to die?
It is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment. Heb. 9:27a KJV
Some people read Hebrews 9 with the mistaken impression that God has set the number of days they will live, and the date of their death.
No!
The context and point of this glorious passage is that, just as we have to die once and face God's judgment, so Christ died once and faced it in our stead.
His substitutionary death sets true believers free from fear of God's judgment of sin, because He bore their guilt and punishment. After they leave this life, believers are judged for rewards, not sin.
You certainly have an appointment, but not an appointed time to die. Many Scriptures show that by living a godly life, and remaining in fellowship with His Spirit, you can extend the span of your years. Numerous times we are also warned that if we fail to keep in step with God we will perish prematurely.
For example, you can lengthen your life by dwelling in Christ and following Him. Ps. 91:16 1 Ki. 3:14. Note also ...with long life will I satisfy him. If you're not satisfied ask for more time. See Pr. 4:10, Deut. 25:5-10, and Eph. 6:1-3
Conversely, if you ignore your Blood bought blessings, and sin, you will pop-off prematurely. See 1 Co. 11:30, 1 Co. 5:1-5
The three score years and ten, 70 year, cap is an Old Covenant limit which the New Covenant graciously allows you to exceed by faith and obedience.
So the duration of your life is to a great extent in your own hands.
Summary: Live as though this is your last day on earth. Get your soul right with God, and with man. As far as you can, correct what you've done wrong, and walk in love and obedience leading sinners to Christ.

Power Evangelism Tip
Taken by the secrets: Go for the Tiger's... err Jugular
The great English evangelist, William Booth, exhorts us to, 'Go for souls, and go for the worst!'
This is wonderful advice to follow for two reasons.
You can make no greater investment of your time on earth than to invest it leading souls to salvation in Christ Jesus. If you still haven't understood why, do more soul-winning and you'll discover the secret of the joy of the Lord. And why Paul exclaimed by the Spirit, Woe to me if I don't preach the Gospel! 1 Co. 9:16
You're faced with two sinning friends; one a pussycat, the other a wild tiger; which do you aim to win for the Lord first?
The tiger of course, because when the more amenable one sees the transformed companion, they will have little choice but to also bend the knee. In addition, if you lead the mild child to Jesus initially, the tiger will maul the babe in Christ.
Remember the example of Saul of Tarsus: the worst sinners make the best believers, after they have met the Living God.
