Introduction
'Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink?' Holy Bible, Mtt. 25:37 NIV
2005: Another year nearer His Coming
The King of kings holds wide the door of opportunity for you to nourish those in desperate need. People are starving for the Bread of Heaven and the Water of Life. Fill mouths and bellies, but as you do, fill ears and hearts with the Gospel of Christ: The Good News of His redemption. Go and tell, He'll do the rest. You will lack for nothing.
Praise God we're ready for the End Times of which the Indian Ocean Earthquake and Tsunami are only a prelude. We remind you what Christ said about recent events, their cause, and what to do about them.
The village where I live was physically shaken by the earthquake, I know these peoples well, they have a need that only you can meet. In this issue you'll find a way to fulfil it.
E-pistles discusses the question, 'Are computer games evil?' And we show you how to remind sinners that they have an appointment with God.
America inaugurates a wolf again this month. They are directly responsible for killing over 500,000 Iraqi children, yet with typical duplicity they continue the slaughter whilst offering face-saving aid to Indonesia.
Why not learn a foreign language this Winter? Try Spanish, German, French, Japanese, Indonesian, and Russian. Then see how God can use you more.
You're beautiful!

Asian Earthquake & Tidal Wave: Paradise Lost
Indonesia Needs Christ's Love
The world's most populous Muslim country is also home to some of the most valiant and anointed Christians on earth. God is able to work the most amazing miracles amongst them because they have such sincere childlike faith. To meet them is both refreshing and humbling, to minister to them, a divine honour.
Today, aid agencies and funds are flooding in with material help and practical assistance that is surely needed. But you have what no sinner can give: Christ in you and the message of salvation. Some of you should be there now, what are you waiting for? The rest can give something better than money, you can send Christ's message. Here are the tools to help God build that which will never be destroyed
Vision of the Lost: He's Calling You Now!
You were created to walk with God through these perilous days. If you are stuck in a rut, or you've been seeking the Lord's will for your life, if you are confused over your ministry, here is the call you need to hear today. It is the call of God, the call of duty, answer it wholeheartedly, and it'll carry you to the Glory with eyes sparkling and a spring in your step, ignore it at your peril.

Subscriber's Question and Answer
Frank wonders, Are computer video games evil?
Answer: The fact that you are asking indicates that you are probably under conviction and the Lord wants you to avoid computer and video games. Check your heart to verify your motive in posing the question; are you perhaps trying to find a way to avoid obeying the Lord?
I'm familiar with computer games because I maintain this website whilst moving around for the Lord, and often rely on internet cafes to upload new pages like the one you are reading. Many times I have to queue for an hour or more waiting for a game-head to end their shoot-em-up session.
There's no question that the vast majority of computer games are indeed evil. They are created by children of the devil, sinners, inspired by demon spirits, and lead users into occult bondage. Most are role-playing fighting, shooting or racing games and you can literally perceive the demonic spiritual influence come upon the players as they settle down for a fix. Many of you know what I mean, and will nod, others will get stirred up and angry at this comment. The truth separates sheep from goats.
I've only played a computer game once; it was a long time ago when I was still in my sins. We were baby-sitting and invited to play Pac Man as a diversion from boredom. Straight away I noticed the compulsion to continue playing the thing, and appalled to discover I had wasted the whole evening doing so. Never again.
So when I see five year-olds with jutting jaws and rabid stares playing Counter Strike or House of the Dead, don't tell me it's 'just innocent fun'. They are charmed, seduced, and compelled by demonic influences to do so, and the effects are occult, hidden, serious and lasting.
We have something far more authoritative than my experience and opinion to go by. The true spiritual test of computer games is this:
Which spirit is leading you to play them? Is it the Holy Spirit or the spirit of the kingdom of the air whom you used to follow when you were dead in your sins. (Eph. 2:1-3) One is Holy the other satanic. The former leads you to deny yourself and glorify Christ; the latter compels you to gratify the cravings of the sinful nature.
Then there's a practical test you can apply:
'Everything is permissible' but not everything is beneficial. 'Everything is permissible', but not everything is constructive. 1 Co. 10:23
Does playing video games bring benefit and help build you up in the Lord?
Simple integrity will help anyone discern the correct answers.
There's only one situation I would play computer games: if the Lord specifically told me to, and He hasn't done so yet.

Power Evangelism Tip
The Appointment Nobody Misses
The continuing tragedy and mounting death toll due to the latest earthquake has focussed minds around the world. Scenes of death have made everyone aware of their mortality, people are sombre and pensive. Now is the perfect time to remind them they have an appointment that they will not miss.
Real Christians lose all fear of death, we know where we are going, how, and why. But the lost and religious haven't a clue, and they are desperate for answers. Ask the Lord to give you words to get their attention on what happens after they die. God's Word says,
It is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment.
These tracts confront people with this eternal truth, and present them with the Good News that Christ was sacrificed to make a way for them to be confident when they face God's Judgment.
