'We Were Wrong!'
At the cost of over 100,000 civilian lives, and two hundred billion US dollars spent creating chaos in Iraq, the US warmongers have finally admitted they were wrong.
Three years too late, the neo-conservative 'crazies' (as they are known in diplomatic circles) who formed the Project for the New American Century (PNAC), are committing 'heresy'.
They are writing articles and books confessing their demonic plan has turned the world into a far more dangerous place, and assured America of destruction.
One apostle of the PNAC, and now US Ambassador to Iraq, admits,
The invasion has opened 'a Pandora's box' that could see the Iraq conflict spread across the entire Middle East.
Most have been put out to grass; Paul Wolfowitz now runs the World Bank, Richard Perle has evaporated, while Lewis Libby slides slowly down his own rusty razor blade.
Only Rumsfeld, Cheney, and George remain clinging to their idols, and wilfully blind to the obvious. They have committed, what US judges at the Nuremberg Nazi Tribunal called, 'the supreme international war crime'.
On the third anniversary of the start of the Iraq war we find the compliant corporate media spinning it as a 'miscalculation' and 'ill-judged'. Turn that around, and imagine the outcry if Saddam's invasion of Kuwait, or Hitler's invasion of France, was glossed over as a 'mistake' or an 'error of judgment'.
Remember your leader's lies in the run-up to the Iraq invasion, and notice the Press feeding you the same ludicrous official propaganda about the next prize: Iran.
