Discover how Hindus are hoodwinked by the annual celebration of Deepavali.
Hindus welcome their New Year with a 'Festival of Light'.
Hinduism teaches that Almighty God the Creator is unreachable, unknowable, and without personality.
The Holy Bible proclaims that Jesus Christ is Almighty God in the Flesh, who said 'I am the light of the world.' Which is true?
Once a year Hindus around the world celebrate Deepavali: The Hindu Festival of Light, which marks a new year on the Hindu calendar. It involves temple visits, idol worship, offering of sacrifices to demons (gods), and is centred on the concept of purifying light, with candles and oil lamps much in evidence.
Devout Hindus prepare practically for Deepavali (also known as Devali, pronounced Dewali) by buying new clothes to wear, rigourous house cleaning and decorating, and preparing marvellous Indian dishes, sweets, and curries to be offered to visitors during the festival. Children stock up with fireworks, which are common to many demonic events, loud bangs are claimed to frighten away demon spirits.
Adherents also go through various spiritual preparations such as praying to Lakshmi, a demon masquerading as a goddess of prosperity, asking her to bless them economically. They also appease the demon Yama, which they claim is the god of death, so they enjoy good health and long life. Ayuravedic practitioners also make special devotions to their demon Ayur-Vignan.
At the high point of Deepavali, Hindus rise before dawn and have a ritual oil massage using turmeric and flour before bathing. Lamps are lit and placed indoors and outside representing the legendary victory of Krishna (a 'good god') over an evil demon Narkasur. Light also symbolizes moving from spiritual darkness by encouraging charitable acts such as feeding the poor, and forgiving each other. Personal resolutions are made at the start of the Hindu New Year.

If sinful man could ever reach God by his own efforts, it would be a Hindu who would be the first to make it. They have put enormous thought, and staggering effort into pleasing 'It', the 'Unknowable One'.
But of course no one can come to God by human effort, God has made a way, the only way for sinners to return to Him: The Lord Jesus Christ.
Jesus said, I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. Holy Bible Jn. 14:6
Hinduism rejects this Gospel truth and declares that there are many ways to God, keeping untold millions in bondage to religion and vain human works. Satan uses gurus, invented rituals, and religious routines, to hoodwink sinners into following demons instead of God.
How tragic, particularly since God has come to show us what He's like, and has paid the ultimate price so that each of us can know Him personally and intimately.
Jesus Christ is Almighty God in the Flesh (Jn.1:1,14) To know God; you must know Jesus Christ, for He is God, and the only way to God.
Jesus said, I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life. Jn.8:12
Notice He said, The light of the world, not a light. He always claimed exclusivity and divinity. The Truth cannot lie.
The Holy Spirit tells us in First John 1:5-7
God is light; in him there is no darkness at all. If we claim to have fellowship with him yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live by the truth. But if we walk in the light as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin.
God the Holy Spirit is saying here quite plainly that if we walk in the light of Jesus Christ, obeying Him and trusting in Him, then we can have fellowship with God, and be purified of all sin.
This is what every religious person craves, but it never comes through religion, it comes through genuine heart faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.
When you really believe in Him, you will follow Him, and obey Him because you love Him: then you will enjoy intimacy with Almighty God.
Which do you want, dead demonic religious routines that rob you of all you have, or joy unspeakable, enduring peace, and eternal life?
Don't be duped by demons and religion.
Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light. It is not surprising, then, if his servants masquerade as servants of righteousness. 2 Co. 11:14-15
Choose The LORD Jesus Christ now...
