A Christian perspective on this occult satanic festival. Great Britain has been a hot-bed of the occult for millennia. The New Testament Greek word for witchcraft, or sorcery, is pharmakios, which means the abuse of chemicals and drugs. Today the UK is awash with such sorcery, school children are addicted to drugs, and the police authorities have all but given up trying to control drug crime. Serious consideration is being given to legalizing the use of drugs, instead of punishing the crime. They've even coined a term for this capitulation to Satan, 'de-criminalizing'.
Even as late as 1990 when I was a veterinary surgeon in Cornwall, I came across many intelligent professionals engaging in serious occult spiritual practices and ceremonies, and this is by no means rare. It is not just the Freemasons and Satanists who indulge in demon worship, it riddles many groups of all kinds.
One method Satan uses to deceive people is to seed youngsters with the lie that Halloween is a harmless Christian festival of spooky fun. Instead, it is one of his greatest weapons to demonize the unsaved. Nobody with the least grain of spiritual discernment could fail to recognize the evil spiritual inspiraton behind the authorship of Harry Potter books.
