"Regarding Evangelicals. I'm not sure if it's simply a cultural difference, but in America, what you described as evangelical isn't true. Only about 20% of Christians say they are evangelicals.
What is an evangelical?
1. The Bible is the inspired Word of God. No mistakes. Infallible
2. The Trinity.
3. Jesus is the only way to Heaven. It's through his shed Blood that we are saved.
Of the 80% of Americans who call themselves 'Christian', only 20% believe these facts regarding salvation.
So, in my opinion, 'Evangelicals', for the most part, are the ones who really believe and practice the Bible. Every Pentecostal, Spirit-Filled person I know, tongue-talkers, walking in the spirit, practising the Gifts given by God, will say to you they are 'evangelical in their beliefs'.
Most others won't, because that's not being 'inclusive enough', ie: we don't say homosexuality is okay, divorce is okay, lying is okay, doing what you feel is right for you is okay." Cheryl
