God proved your value to Him by dying in your place

Let us fix our eyes on Jesus... who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

Salvation is found in no-one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to people by which we must be saved. Holy Bible Heb. 12:2, Acts 4:12 NIV

"They're going from bad to worse Son. They are falling deeper into sin, and further away from us. What are we going to do? Any ideas?"

"Yes Father, how about this?"

"Go ahead Son, if it's good, I'll endorse it, and put the whole Authority of Heaven behind it."

"Well, we made them, and we gave them a free-will just like us. But since the first couple broke trust and sinned, people have been lost, out of touch with us. Wicked to the core, children of the devil.

They can't do right for doing wrong. There's none righteous. They each must die for their sins.

But... What if I go, and die in their place, bear their guilt, their Judgment, their diseases, take the punishment they deserve?"

"Go on Son, I'm listening."

"Then, whoever accepts that I did it for them, can be acquitted because their debt is paid. When I rise from the dead, they'll know for sure I'm God, and we can live in their hearts forever."

"Great idea Son! That means we can be perfectly just in punishing their sin, but they don't have to die. We can forgive all who trust in you, and save them."

"Shall we do it Father?"

"There's just one thing Son."

"What's that Father?"

"You realise the cost?"

"Cost Father?"

"You are going to have to give up all your Glory, leave Heaven, and live down there amongst all that filth and wickedness."

"I'll go Father."

"You must become exactly like them, but never sin once. Suffer every temptation people are subject to without so much as an evil thought. You're going to have to keep my Law perfectly or it won't work."

"With your help, I can do it Father."

"Son, I said, 'The soul who sins must die' Eze. 18:4 I can't break my word. For this plan to succeed you must carry all their guilt. We can't cut corners. You will have to suffer the Judgment they deserve. All the consequences of human sin must be borne by you. Every sickness, every infirmity. You will have to take them all."

"I know Father."

"You must die for them."

"They are worth it Father."

"You'll have to suffer unimaginable pain on the Cross. Onlookers will think you are getting what you deserve, and that you are a sinner. They won't understand that you will die bearing their shame, their curse, their disgrace."

"Yes Father."

"You must got to Hell in their place."

"If it is the only way to get them back, I'll do it Father."

"And worst of all. We must be separated. When you die, you must be driven from my Presence.

"Yes Father, but then whoever believes we did this for them can be acquitted, and we can have them with us forever. Oh what joy!

Then sin and Satan will lose all claim on everyone who accepts me. They can not be condemned, never taken captive... never die!"

"It will work Son, but it is a terrible price. Why do you want to pay it?"

"Because we love them Father. We made them, they are our creation. We cannot abandon the work of our hands, without giving them a way back. We must be one with them again."

"Okay Son, leave the details to me. Are you ready to go on your mission?"

"Whenever you say Father."

"Then go now, because Today is the Day of Salvation."
