Inoperable Cancer Conquered By Christ

Perhaps you have been told by doctors that you are incurable. Has a loved one got inoperable cancer? Then take heart from this testimony, and turn now to the Perfect Surgeon who never fails.

Jesus pointed to His miracles in Bible days to prove He is the Christ. Today His miracles continue to testify that Jesus Christ is Almighty God, and that He is alive. Here's a summary of another proven healing miracle of Christ.
January 1952. USA
Two dour faced American Surgeons tell Stella Turner's husband;
"Your wife has cancer. It's all through her body; liver, gall bladder, and pancreas. It is so widespread, and she is so far gone, we couldn't operate."
Biopsies proved it was a malignant tumour, a hopeless case.
Stella was only 49 years old. The doctors sent her home to die. They said she would not live beyond 6 to 8 weeks.
Just as the doctors had predicted, she rapidly lost weight, falling from 132lbs. to 97 lbs. She vomited all food, and suffered great pain. A constant supply of pain killing pills was prescribed.
Stella's family were stunned. They were 'church-goers' but had never heard of Christ healing people today. (Some Church. If you are in a fellowship like that, you need to get out and find a Spirit-filled fellowship where the Holy Spirit is free to do what Jesus wants.)
But they heard about Evangelist Kathryn Kuhlman's Miracle Services and radio broadcasts, and decided to send in urgent prayers requests.
Her husband commented, "I was desperate. I knew the only thing we could pin our hopes on was God."
Stella deteriorated, and became bed-fast, too weak to get up except for brief periods. However, she began to listen to the Word of God proclaimed clearly and simply through the Evangelists's radio programmes. The whole family began to believe God for a miracle.
Some relatives attended the Miracle Services to build their faith, and to pray for their loved one. Six weeks out of hospital, Stella travelled to Pittsburgh herself despite great pain, and vomiting all the way. She had to be carried into the auditorium.
That dying woman heard, and believed God's Promises:
I am the Lord who heals you.
Anyone who trusts in him will never be put to shame.
No-one who trusts in Him will be put to shame.
Praise the Lord... Who heals all your sicknesses.
This is the day of salvation.
By His wounds you have been healed.
He sent forth his Word, and healed them. Ex. 15:26, Ro. 10:11, Ps. 103:3, 1 Pe. 2:24, Ps. 107:20
After the third Sunday, on the way home she asked for some fresh vegetables to eat.
"You can't eat anything like that." Her husband protested, thinking she would vomit as usual.
"Yes I can, I know I can."
And she did, with no vomiting.
Her steady improvement continued, and when her husband went to replenish her pain-killer prescription, he testified;
"I walked into the drugstore, and suddenly it was as if I heard a voice say
'Stella's not going to need those pills.'
"I just turned around, and walked out."
Stella never needed another pain killer from that very day.
She made a complete recovery, and went back to work. Her husband said she works harder, scrubbing walls and cutting grass, than any two women put together.
Skeptics may say, "That was only remission, time will tell, it'll recur." (Remission means a temporary lessening of symptoms, not a complete cure.)
To silence such sad cynics, God arranged for perfect proof, better than X-rays, to show that Stella's cancer was not remitted, but totally cured.
In 1955, three and a half years after her healing, she suffered abdominal trouble, and her doctors fearing the worse, opened her up to take a look. (Laparotomy)
Notice this.: She returned to the same hospital, the same team of five doctors who had seen her cancer riddled body with their own eyes.
The same two doctors who gave the bad news of her cancer, now reported after this operation the Good News,
"No cancer. There's only one way to explain it. Someone higher than ourselves took care of your wife."
No trace of cancer was discovered, only scar tissue. All her organs were perfect. Biopsies were taken, as before. This time all proved negative. (Doubly confirmed by even more intensive tests at a different laboratory.)
All five surgeons were thoroughly convinced this was a miracle. They had seen the proof with their own eyes.
Stella recovered from her exploratory laparotomy, amazingly quickly, only needing a check up by her family doctor.
"I'm so happy for you. Your family are a living example to all of us what faith (in Christ) can do." he said.
The lives of the Turners are very different since Stella's healing. They are a closer family than ever before. They walk with God, and attend Church and the healing services regularly. They read their Bible daily, and tell everyone about the Living Christ who changed their lives.
What the Doctors couldn't do: Jesus did. The Word of God is alive, and cuts between joints and marrow, soul and spirit better than any human surgeon. See Heb. 4:12
