The Power in the Blood of Christ

One of the greatest statements in the Bible is this: Without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness (for sin) Holy Bible Heb. 9:22 NIV

God says, It is the blood that makes atonement for one's life. Le. 17:11.

Jesus said, This is my blood... which is poured out for the forgiveness of sins. Mtt. 26:28

In the beginning, God created people without sin. But Satan came and tempted them, and they yielded.

God had said: The soul who sins is the one who will die. Eze. 18:4

When they fell into sin, death came upon them, and so sin and death have passed upon all people.

The Bible says,

Your iniquities have separated you from your God; your sins have hidden his face from you. The wages of sin is death. Is. 59:2, Ro. 6:23

Man wants God, and searches to find Him, but sin has blinded him and kept him from finding God.

In every country, religious men have invented some different way to try to find God. Some bow down to gods of wood and stone. Some torture themselves. Some dance and do ceremonies. Some burn incense and candles. Some kill animals or birds. Others sing chants and pray for long periods before beautiful images. Some make pilgrimages to religious places or temples.

But oh, my friend, none of these things will remove your sin or bring you back to God. There is only one way:

The Blood of Jesus Christ, God's Son was poured out for the forgiveness of your sins.

For ages people have groped in darkness, searching for peace with God.

Why?

Because God made us, and we naturally search for fellowship with God. But we forget that sin is the force that keeps us lost, searching but never finding.

People cry out: "How can I get peace? How can I get rid of the burden I carry in my heart? Which road must I take? Is there a way to God?"

Oh, my friend, yes there is a way:

Jesus says; I am the way, the truth and the life. Jn. 14:6

He says in effect;

I have given my blood on the Cross as an atonement for your sins. Believe in me. Come to me, and I will give you life. My peace I give to you.

This world is like a mass of shipwrecked people drowning in a storm. Death hangs over each doomed victim, unless they get help.

They cry out in the darkness:

"Is there anyone who can save me?"

And I answer: Yes, there is a Saviour. Jesus Christ is the only Saviour. There is safety in Him. Oh, my friend, trust in His Blood today.

There is power in the blood of Jesus to remove every sin in your life.

The Bible tells us:

(We) are not redeemed with... silver and gold... but with the precious blood of Christ. 1 Pe. 1:18-19

Satan has kept us bound as captives in sin's grip.
But when Christ laid down His life and gave His Blood, the price was paid for our total freedom.

You cannot redeem yourself out of sin. You cannot pay the price of freedom with money. Only the perfect sinless Blood of God's Son can release you from the power of your sins. I cannot explain it; Jesus said,

Only believe! Mk. 5:36

You will have His peace when you believe His Word. That is faith. The Bible also says,

Now in Christ Jesus you who were once far away (from God because of your sins) have been brought near through the blood of Christ. Eph. 2:13

Sin separates us from God, but Jesus paid the price for our sins so that we can be brought back to God through faith in His Blood.

When you trust in His Blood, and believe it was poured out for you personally, you will stand in God's presence with no sense of guilt or condemnation.

The Bible says,

There is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. Ro. 8:1

Isn't that wonderful?

The Bible says the Blood of Jesus Christ also justifies us:

Being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved. Ro. 5:9

That means, God declares a believer completely free from guilt and every accusation. When we accept Christ as Saviour, God looks on us as though we had never sinned at all.

His Blood gives us peace.

The Bible says Jesus was, Making peace through his blood, shed on the cross. Col. 1:20

You will never have real peace in your heart until you trust in His Blood to cleanse you. Oh, do it today!

The Blood of Christ cleanses us:

The Bible tells us, The blood of Jesus Christ, (God's) Son, cleanses us from all sin. 1 Jn. 1:7

Not just a few sins, but all sins, the terrible sins, and the small sins. No one is too wicked. No one is too far gone or too dirty. God is ready to pardon every sin, make you clean and give you peace, if you will trust in the Blood of His Son now. He says,

I will forgive their wickedness, and I will remember their sins no more. Je. 31:34

Isn't that wonderful? You do not deserve such mercy; Nobody does; but God loves you so much He gave His only Son's Blood to pay for all your sins. When you really believe this, God can legally acquit you of all the penalty of your sins.

You cannot earn such love, it is God's Gift to you. All you can do is believe it, and trust that Christ's Blood is sufficient for you. This is the grace of God.

And when your sins are forgiven, then He will heal your physical body too, and take away every disease. He wants you to have peace in your soul and health in your body today. Believe in Jesus now. God's Answer to your every need.
