Has anyone come back

Q: Has Heaven been seen by real people?

A: Indeed! The Bible mentions quite a few; Isaiah (Is. 6), Jesus of Nazareth (Mk. 1:10, Jn. 3:13, Jn. 6:38, Heb. 9:24), Stephen (Ac. 7:55-56), Paul (2 Co. 12:1-4) and John (Rev. 19:11).

Here's a recent eye-witness report of Heaven by a man raised from the dead.

The Devil's invention

Q: When should a baby be baptised or 'Christened'?

A: Never! "Christening" is a man-made, demonically inspired, religious tradition. It is not in the Bible. Water baptism is only for the saved; babies are too young to repent and believe the Gospel.

Pet Dinosaurs in Eden

Q: Were dinosaurs around in the time of Adam and Eve?

A: Certainly! Gen. 1:24-26, 2:19-20 God made them all literally the same week He made Adam, who also ruled over them with Eve.

Will God cure my Aids?

Q: Can Jesus save somebody with HIV Aids?

A: Instantly! Christ bore all your sins and diseases on Himself when He died under the Judgment you deserve. 1 Pe. 2:24, Mtt. 8:16-17.

<< Healing the Sick by TL. Osborn: Read how you can be healed by Christ. He bore your sickness and sin so that He can heal you of every sickness by simple faith in His finished Sacrifice.

What's the point of baptism?

Q: Why be water-baptised when it is the Holy Spirit who baptises us into Christ?

A: The Born again baptism into Christ must precede water baptism. Full-immersion water baptism symbolises this event, and is required for obedience to Christ and public testimony of Christ. Read more on Baptism in the Bible.

Where denominations came from

Where are the different denominations in the Bible?

A: There are no denominations in Christ, or the Bible: There's one Body, one church. All 'denominations' are man-made divisions. But don't fall into Satan's snare of Ecumenism. Ro. 12:5, 1 Co. 12:12-25, Eph. 4:4.

Martial arts

Q: Should Christians take part in martial arts like Karate, Judo, and Tae kwon do?

A: Of course not, they are based on spiritism and demon power, Christians are to have nothing to do with the occult. 1 Co. 10:20-22, Lev. Ch.19-20.

Transexuals?

Q: Can a transsexual become a Christian?

A: There's no such thing. God made only male and female. Ge. 1:27 Your desire for self-mutilation comes from demons. Ro. 1:28. Repent and receive Christ and He'll give you a sound mind free of confusion. 1 Co. 2:16, Ro. 12:2, 1 Pe. 4:7.

What to do if you've sinned

Q: What if I sin after being born-again?

A: 1 Jn. 1:5-10, 2:1-2.

Indian Christians

Q: I am converted from Brahmin to Christian and baptised; what are the problems I may have to face?

A: None that through Christ you cannot soar above. Two common ones confront Indians: Avoiding the ubiquitous idolatry: Get rid of all idols, and stand firm for Christ, 1 Jn. 5:21, 1 Co. 10:20-22. Repent from caste judgment. Learn to love and touch untouchables, and wash their feet like your new Lord does. Jas. Ch.2. Jn. Ch.13.

Church hopping

Q: Is it wrong to leave a fellowship just because you have been deeply hurt?

A: That would cause you to develop unforgiveness, and bitterness, killing your fellowship with God. 1 Jn. 3:19-24. Leave only if Jesus is telling you to leave, but first be certain you really have forgiven them completely.

Get the power

Q: How can I be filled with the Holy Spirit and Power? Mary

A: Ask believing, and receive The Power Baptism, then use it! Getting the power is easy, but the key to using it successfully is to believe you have it. Like Peter and John at the Beautiful Gate. "What I have, I give you..."

Different uses of tongues

Q: How do I show people that praying in tongues is different from speaking in tongues for a prophetic word?

A: 1 Co. Chs. 12-14 are dealing with public worship and the nine Gifts of the Holy Spirit. Eph. 6:18 instructs us to pray in the Spirit (ie. tongues), including in private devotion. You'll find more on this topic here. Praying in tongues.

Also notice Paul says in 1 Co. 14:18 that he uses tongues more than the Corinthians whom he was correcting. Then in the next verse (19) he says, 'But in the church I'd rather speak five intelligible words to instruct others than ten thousand words in a tongue.' Since Paul was using tongues more than the Corinthians, but not in the church setting, where was he using them? In his personal devotions, of course.

Saved online

Q: Is internet Evangelism effective?

A: By God's grace, ours is, here's just a sample of your feedback.

What about hermaphrodites?

Q: Since women are to only marry men, how does God view Hermaphrodites?

A: A person's sex is not governed by deformed sex organs, but by God through their genes. God loves hermaphrodites, but don't blame Him for developmental abnormalities in the womb; blame your ancestors Adam and Eve: And thank God for His Way out.

God's dress code

Q: My church leaders wear all sorts of Catholic-like gowns in their ceremonies. Is this biblical? Peter

A: No, the only garments required under the New Covenant are provided free by God to every born again believer. The Robe of His Righteousness, praise, and salvation, as foretold by Isaiah Ch. 61. Catholics love religious paraphernalia because they are idolaters, not Christian. Get out, and find a Christian fellowship.

Arranged marriage

Q: Is a father's consent needed for his daughter or son to be married?

A: Everyone must have their Heavenly Father's consent, otherwise it is a doomed relationship. It's clear from 1 Co. Ch. 7 that God wants to spare you the burden of marriage, and devote yourself to God's Best. The only acceptable 'arranged marriage' is one arranged by God, not man. The Bridegroom is coming soon! Rev. Ch.21-22

Street-preaching tips

Q: Got any street-preaching advice? Brenda

A: There's all sorts of tactics, but the best advice I can give you, is listen to Jesus and do what He tells you. That way you stay fresh, in the groove, and you'll grow in confidence. You'll find plenty of evangelism tips here.

Which church is best?

Q: With so many churches under the 'Christian' label, which ones do you recommend; Pentecostal, Baptist, etc.

A: I was saved in a Spirit-filled Baptist fellowship, and first spoke in tongues at an AOG (Elim) meeting a few days later. But we don't point saints to any particular group, we teach them to follow Christ, and learn to depend completely on Him for everything. Fellowships go off the narrow path, Jesus never does.

God the Creator or Liar?

Q: Why do you call Jesus, 'God', when He only claimed to be the Son of God?

A: Because He is God. Unless you believe Jesus is Almighty God in the Flesh you will die in your sins. (Jn. Ch.8) The title 'Son of God' means He is God, and nothing less. Countless Scriptures confirm His constant claim to both divinity and humanity.

Out of the heart

Q: When I am born again, can I judge someone's heart by observing their actions?

A: Believers are to determine by a person's words, deeds, and fruit, (which reveal their heart) whether a person is genuine or counterfeit, a child of God or the devil. Mtt. 7:17-20, 12:34, 1 Jn. 3:9-10.

Is God unfair?

Q: If God loves us as you say He does, why would He send anyone to suffer eternally under any circumstances?

A: Simple: He's Holy, Just, and always keeps His Word. See the 'E-pistle' reply to Why doesn't God do something about suffering?

Salvation, then tongues

Q: Do you have to speak in tongues in order to be saved?

A: No! You have to repent from unbelief in the LORD Jesus Christ, receive, and confess Him, to be saved. (Ro. 10:8-13) Tongues are only for believers. Here's an FAQ article on tongues.

No sin in Heaven

Q: 1 Co. 6:3. If we will judge angels, I am presuming that the angels have some sin. How is sin allowed in Heaven?

A: It isn't. A third of the angels followed Satan, and were cast to Earth becoming demons. Their final judgment occurs after the 1,000 year reign on Earth. See Rev. 20. Then comes the new Heaven and Earth. Rev. 21:1.

Out where the sinners are

Q: If Jesus was walking the Earth now, would He sit on the Church pew or go to the streets?

A: He has no time for 'churchiness', and would be out where the sinners are, proclaiming the Good News of His Perfect Redemption to all who would listen. If they don't, He'd quickly move on.

Power for every crisis

Q: My niece is in a coma on a life-support machine. I know the Lord is trying to tell me what to do, but I'm not sure exactly what it is. Joseph

A: Use the authority God has given you. Command death to leave her in Jesus' Name, and believe. Psalm 118 literally works wonders when acted upon in faith. And of course, don't forget James 5:14-15. The Word of God never fails. Never.

Smoking in the Bible

Q: I've heard that I cannot be saved if I smoke cigarettes, is that true?

A: No! Salvation is for whoever repents and believes in Christ. Smoking is certainly a sinful lust of the flesh, included in the list in Gal. 5:19-21. It comes under pharmakios, abuse of drugs, translated as sorcery or witchcraft in English. When you get saved, Jesus will give you power to break free of your nicotine addiction.

The demon drink

Q: What about my drink problem?

A: It's demonic, and only Christ can deliver you. Turn wholeheartedly to Him now, and He will. Col. 1:13 Here's more on alcoholism.

You add: I like your answer about drinking. I was a sinful drinker for over 35 years, and the only One that could help me was Jesus. I was delivered from drinking and smoking at the same time. Thank you Jesus!

Did Christ go to Hell?

Q: What happened when Christ went to Hell (Eph. 4:9)?

A: He surely did, where He disarmed and defeated Satan forever, and having triumphed over him for you, He arose, leading captivity captive. (Col. 2:15, Eph. 4:8 KJV) See E.W.Kenyon for more on Christ's Victory for Believers.

Only one Study Bible

Q: Is it wrong to have a study bible such as 'So and So's Study Bible'?

A: Not wrong, but not wise. No student is above his teacher, so why limit yourself to a human teacher when the Holy Spirit was given to be your personal indwelling Tutor.

Q: Where is 'Christening' in the Bible? Diane

A: It isn't in the Bible, it's a satanic religious invention. Study up on Biblical water baptism.

Three Graces

Q: What's the difference between faith and hope? Martin

A: Faith has it now, hope is for the future. See Heb 11:1, Ro. 8:24-25.

God's belly-button

Q: Does God have a belly-button? Steve

A: Of course! Jesus is God in the Flesh, and He was born of woman, and therefore has an umbilicus. So does His Father, because Christ is the exact representation of Almighty God. Heb. 1:3.

Spare your blushes

Q: My question is embarrassing... Samantha

A: Ahh, hold on Luv, I think you'll find the answer on the Sex and Marriage page.

A: Yikes no! Just wives to their husbands (Eph. 5:22) Read The Woman Question for those submissive women questions.

Headcovering

Q: Must women have their heads covered in Christian meetings?

A: God's instructions on head-covering for both women and men are widely misinterpreted. Read The Woman Question for a balanced understanding.

Love tells the Truth

Q: Why do you hate Catholics? Maria

A: We don't hate anyone. Christians love Catholics enough to point them away from idols to The Truth. Pr. 17:17, Gal. 4:16.

First understand

Q: Will you please pray for my healing? Franklin

A: Only after you have read, understood, and embraced your Healing in Christ.

Q: Do you have any articles in Spanish? Carlos

Evangelism at work

Q: How do I bring my work colleagues to Christ?

A: By showing them what He is like in you.

Judge of judges

Q: Is the death penalty correct?

A: Only when it is passed by God, not by men. Jn. 10:10, Ro. 6:23, ie. Ac. 5:10 cf, Ac. 7:57-60.

Charismatic Christians

Q: What is the 'Charismatic Movement'? Tim

A: A trend, since the 1980's, where fellowships encourage the operation of the Gifts of the Holy Spirit in worship and ministry, just like in the early church. (1 Co. Ch.12).

The Bible is correct

Q: Doesn't Psalm 19:6 imply the Sun revolves around the Earth?

A: No; remember the Psalm is by David on Earth. Only from our unique perspective does the Sun appear to revolve around us. God isn't saying it actually does.

If I don't yet have tongues, does that mean I am not Baptised in the Spirit?
