He took your Rap

Q: Is Rap music bad for children?

A: If it comes out of a sinner's heart it's bad for everyone. Some Christians try to use the Rap format containing a Gospel message to get through to Rap bods. Personally, I'm uncomfortable with that. Nothing works better than the Gospel Truth delivered in Love.

Is once enough?

Q: How many times should a person get baptised?

A: Into Christ, only once is possible. In water, only once is necessary if the person has been genuinely born again beforehand. In the Holy Spirit: Continually. See these indepth articles on Biblical Baptism for the details.

Blasphemous books

Q: Is the New World Translation of the Bible OK?

A: Only for burning; get the matches, it's a seriously corrupted version produced by the Jehovah's Witness cult. For example, in Jn. 1:1, it describes Christ not as God, but as 'a god'. 'JayDubs' (JW's), like Mormons (LDS), Catholics, SDA, etc., are way off.

Death is not the end

Q: What is eternal or everlasting life?

A: See Jn. 5:21-26, 6:47, 3:16, 1 Jn. 5:10-13. It is the Spirit of God in a believer, the Life of Christ in them, as Ro. 8:10-11 describes.

Is it too late?

Q: Should I still pray for my marriage even though we are separated and he is dating someone else? Mo

A: Of course, but pray in faith believing, not doubting, or repetitive begging. Nothing is impossible with God.

Even if your husband is committing adultery, God will convict him and restore him, providing you keep redemptive faith. God hates divorce, because He is a Redeemer! Mal. 2:16

Idolatrous religions

Q: What is idolatry?

A: Anything that usurps the place of The LORD Jesus Christ. Any worship not directed to Him is idolatry. It covers all religion, including the blasphemous Mass, all false doctrine, greed, witchcraft, lust, drunkenness etc, as well as the obvious idols made by the hands of men (statues, flags, icons, beads, crosses, medallions, charms etc.) and worshipped in countless ways. Gal. 5:19-20, Eph. 5:5,1 Co. 10:14-22 etc. God hates idolatry. No idolaters get to Heaven. Rev. 21:8, 22:15.

Unforgivable

What is 'blasphemy against the Holy Spirit'?

A: Mk. 3:29-30, Lk. 12:10. Verse 30 in Mk. Ch.3 tells us that it is knowingly denouncing the Holy Spirit, and His supernatural works, as evil. Notice, these men saw God in the Flesh do a wonderful miracle by the Spirit of God, and they said it was done by an evil spirit. God in the Flesh, speaking under the Old Covenant, said that is unforgivable.

Superstition

Q: It's 666 today, are Christians worried?

A: The sixth day, of the sixth month, of the sixth year gets superstitious sinners anxious, but not real Christians, they have nothing to do with superstition, or 'special days' (Gal. 4:8-11), because for them every day is the day of salvation (2 Co. 6:2), with a Sabbath rest (Col. 2:16, Heb. Ch.4).

God's cure for depression

Q: Does the Bible say anything about depression?

A: It was written for you, Jn. 20:31. Your depression is the result of accumulated sins, yours, and your ancestors from Adam. Resulting in the oppression of the devil that Jesus came to destroy, Ac. 10:38 KJV.

So simply repent and believe the Good News of Christ, and you will have deep, enduring, inexpressible joy, in all circumstances. 1 Pe. 1:8, Gal. 5:22. Read the Gospel of John, do what it says, Jn. 3:3-21, and your new life will begin.

Holy war, Just war?

Q: Can war be morally justified?

A: No; Christians are not to base their lives on morals, but upon the Word of God. Morals change with fashions, ages, and culture. God's Word is eternal. New Covenant believers are commanded to love the enemies, not kill them. The LORD Jesus Christ set the standard we are to follow; He laid down His sinless life for His worst enemies. Mtt. 7:24-27, 5:43-48. God's Way never fails: Never.

The danger of card-playing

Q: Is there anything wrong with Playing-Cards? Peter

A: In many parts of the world their import is illegal, along with drugs, firearms, and contraband. Their sale is controlled and licensed like cigarettes, and their use for gambling illegal. Where man's laws do not conflict with God's Word, Christians are to obey them. Ro. 13:1-7, 1 Pe. 2:13-17. Why do you think they are tightly controlled?

Gospel for Gentiles

Q: Did Smith Wigglesworth ever have a sermon on Genesis 9:27?

A: Not specifically, that I've read, but SW's whole ministry was, of course, based upon the blessing Noah gave to Japheth; which God extended and enlarged to include The Gospel. (Most Gentiles descended from Japheth.)

Women Bible teachers?

Q: 1 Tim. 2:11-12 plainly states that women are not to teach men: Why?

A: The original Greek for the words 'women' and 'men' here, are also used for 'wives' and 'husbands'. Only in the latter sense does this, and other such mistranslated verses, make sense, and conform to God's redemptive plan. Woman Questions will make clear what this verse really means.

Pleasing God

Q: What can I do to please God?

A: Perfect question, and the answer is sublime How to Please God.
