Why are people afraid of dying?

Because after death comes Judgment. All men instinctively know this to be the case, that is why natural man fears death.

He knows he is a sinner, and that Almighty God will demand an account of his life after he dies.

When sinful man faces his righteous Creator there's no room for sham, bribery, bluffing, or deceit.

Nothing in all creation is hidden from God's sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of him to whom we must give account. Heb. 4:13 Holy Bible NIV

Men prefer to deny, forget, or cover up their sins, but everything will be revealed at their judgment.

People complain when a wicked man dies without facing a human court. They say he has escaped justice, but he hasn't. Nobody ever escapes Justice.

Back From the Dead

John Wesley called it The Great Assize, when God sits on the Judgment Throne to pass sentence upon the guilty.

Jesus warned us emphatically about the forthcoming Judgment:

I tell you that men will have to give account on the Day of Judgment for every careless word they have spoken. Mtt. 12:36

Because He is The Judge.

Religion or Truth?

Satan tempts men to believe in religion rather than to accept the Truth.

Jesus said I am the truth. Jn. 14:6

Hindus and Buddhists swallow the lie of reincarnation, imagining that a life goes through many cycles of birth and death.

Not so! God's Word declares that He created man in His image, it is appointed for man to die once, and after death comes Judgment.

Who are you going to trust: Satan or the LORD Jesus Christ, in tradition or The Truth, in religion or God's Righteousness?
